Post Op in Intensive Care

Surgery went well but Jacob's pain has been difficult to control.  Please keep praying for us.  Right now it feels like it is going to be a long night.  I think this last thing that they tried is helping.  We'll see. Please pray that Jacob can get some rest tonight.  We appreciate you!

    Heavenly Father, we thank you that You brought Jacob through this surgery. Lord, we pray that Jacob and the Rogers family are able to rest in Your loving presence. Father, give Lori and Tom the strength to endure this night - long as it may be. Keep their minds clear and their thoughts coherent as they watch their son struggle with the pain. Guide the doctors, Lord, as they determine the best possible steps for Jacob's pain management. Watch over this dear family, Lord. In Jesus' name we pray. Amen.
